A free AI chatbot you can use right now

AlgoChat is a free AI chatbot that opens in your browser. Type a question and it answers. There is no account to create, no email to confirm, no free trial that ends after a week and nothing to install. It works the same on an iPhone, an Android phone or a laptop.

People use it the way they would message a clever friend: to check a fact, get unstuck on homework, draft a reply, plan a weekend or just talk something through.

Start chatting, it's free No sign-up. Works in your phone's browser.

What "free" means here

AlgoChat has no paid plan. You do not hit a paywall after a few messages, and there is no premium tier with a better model behind it. The trade-off is that some replies show a recommendation card for another app. Those are clearly separated from the answer.

You also do not pay with an account. AlgoChat ties your chats to the browser you use rather than to an email address. That makes it quick to start, and it means your history stays on that browser. If you clear your site data or switch to a different phone, you start with a clean slate.

What you can ask it

Anything you would type into a search box, and a lot you would not. Some of the most common uses:

  • Homework and revision: step-by-step math, essay feedback, practice questions and explanations at your level.
  • Writing: emails, messages, captions, birthday wishes, cover letters and replies to awkward texts.
  • Photos and files: send a picture, a screenshot or a PDF and ask what it says, what is wrong with it or what to do next.
  • Current facts: the chatbot searches the web for news, prices, schedules and anything else that changes, then links its sources.
  • Play: interactive stories, roleplay characters, trivia, word games and Sims challenge ideas.

How it compares to other free chatbots

Most big-name chatbots ask you to sign in before you can do much, and many cap free use or keep the better features for subscribers. AlgoChat skips the sign-in entirely, which matters if you are on a school device, a shared computer or just want an answer without another account.

It does not try to be everything. It does not generate images or video, it cannot run code, and it will not remember you on a different device. If you need those, a larger app with an account will suit you better. If you want a fast, capable chat that reads your files and checks the web, AlgoChat covers that without the setup.

Tips for better answers

  • Give context. "Write a message to my landlord" is fine. "Write a firm but polite message to my landlord about a leak he has ignored for two weeks" is better.
  • Ask for a format. Bullet points, a table, a single sentence or a 200-word limit all work.
  • Correct it. If something is off, say so. It will fix the answer in the same chat.
  • Attach instead of describing. A photo of the problem usually beats typing it out.

Questions

Is there a message limit?

There is no paid tier to push you toward, and normal use is not capped. Like any free service, AlgoChat has abuse protections, so extremely high-volume automated use may be slowed down.

Which AI model does AlgoChat use?

AlgoChat is built by Algoplex, which does not publish which models run underneath. The models can change over time without you needing to do anything.

Is my chat private?

Chats are tied to your browser, not to a name or email. AlgoChat keeps conversations to provide your history and does not sell them. The privacy policy at algochat.app/privacy has the details.

Can I use it without downloading anything?

Yes. AlgoChat runs in Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Open algochat.app and start typing.

Can the chatbot be wrong?

Yes. It is a language model, and it can make mistakes, especially with obscure facts or long calculations. Ask it to show its working, and check anything important.
