What AlgoChat is
AlgoChat is a free AI chatbot at algochat.app. It runs in any phone or laptop browser. You do not need an account, an email address or a download. It answers questions, helps with homework and writing, reads photos and PDFs, and searches the web when a question needs current information. Answers that use the web show their sources.
AlgoChat is made and run by Algoplex. The same chat is also available as an iPhone app, AlgoChat on the App Store.
Which AI it uses
AlgoChat sends your messages to large language models from major AI providers through their official, paid APIs. Algoplex pays for this use. AlgoChat does not use unofficial or reverse-engineered access to any AI service. Web search runs through a licensed search API.
The models behind AlgoChat change as better ones become available. AI answers can be wrong, so check anything important, such as medical, legal or financial information, with a reliable source.
How it is free
AlgoChat is free to use. It can show a small, labeled recommendation, for example an app suggestion, near a chat. Algoplex does not sell your conversations or personal information. Fair-use rate limits apply so that one person cannot use up the service for everyone.
Not the same as other products named AlgoChat
Some unrelated products use a similar name. Algoplex does not make them, and their privacy policies and features do not apply to algochat.app:
- algochat.io, a chat bot tool for Twitch and Kick streamers.
- algochat-ai, an unofficial npm package. Algoplex did not publish it and does not support it.
The only official AlgoChat sites are algochat.app and the AlgoChat app on the App Store.
Privacy in short
- No account: chats are linked to a random browser identifier, not to your name or email.
- IP addresses are cleared after 30 days. They are kept only to stop abuse and enforce rate limits.
- Conversations are not sold, and not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
- You can ask for deletion at any time by email to support@algoplex.ai.
Do not share passwords, bank details or other secrets with any AI chatbot, including this one. The full privacy policy explains what is collected and why.
