AlgoChat Privacy Policy

Overview

AlgoChat is operated by Algoplex. AlgoChat does not require an account or login. The app lets you send messages, images, files, and conversation context to AI services and receive generated responses.

Information we collect

• Chats you create, including prompts, messages, uploads, AI responses, conversation history, and chat metadata.
• Attachment metadata such as filename, media type, size, checksum, storage path, and creation time.
• Session and device/browser information, including a pseudonymous web identifier in localStorage, cookies used to maintain session state, browser, operating system, locale, timezone, user agent, IP address, and coarse location from hosting headers.
• Product and diagnostics events such as session started, chat started, message sent, image attached, model selected, errors, and reliability signals.

How we use information

We use this information to provide AI responses, upload and display attachments, preserve chat history, maintain conversation context, operate and improve AlgoChat, debug issues, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your conversations, uploads, device identifiers, or personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Third-party processing

AlgoChat may send prompts, uploads, conversation context, and limited technical metadata to AI providers such as OpenAI, Google/Gemini, Anthropic, and other AI infrastructure providers. Firebase/Google Analytics and first-party server analytics may process product and diagnostics events. Hosting, database, blob storage, logging, and monitoring infrastructure may process data needed to run the service.

Retention and deletion

IP addresses are cleared from session records 30 days after the session was last active. We retain conversations, attachments, sessions, and analytics records as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain history, debug issues, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

To request deletion, email support@algoplex.ai. Because AlgoChat does not require an account, we may need your app-generated session or browser identifier to locate data.
